We connect Winnipeg businesses with a local managed IT provider; we do not provide IT services ourselves (see About).
Information we collect
- Callback form: your name, business name, phone number, email address, the number of employees and devices you give us, the service you need, your best time to call, and anything you type in the description. We also record the page you submitted from, the page that referred you, and the time of submission.
- Phone calls: calls to the number on this site may be routed through a call-tracking or forwarding service, which may record the calling number, the time and the duration of the call. If a call is recorded, you will be told at the start of the call.
- Analytics (only if enabled): if we switch on analytics, it may use cookies and collect device and usage data. It is off by default. Confirm before launch
- Server logs: our hosting provider may log technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability.
How we use and share it
- To connect you with a managed IT provider. We share your request with one managed IT provider so it can contact you by phone or email about it. The provider uses your information to respond to you and, if you proceed, under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Service providers that help us run the website, the form and the phone line (for example hosting, form processing and call tracking) process data on our behalf.
- Legal reasons: if the law requires it, or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your information to data brokers, and your request is not sent to a list of companies.
Consent to be contacted
By ticking the consent box on the callback form and submitting it, you agree that the provider we pass your request to may contact you by phone or email about your request. You can withdraw consent at any time by telling the provider, or by emailing us at the address below, and we will pass the withdrawal on. Consent is not a condition of anything other than receiving the callback you asked for.
Where your information is stored
Form submissions are sent to a processing service and then to the provider. Some of our service providers may store or process information outside Canada, and your information may be subject to the laws of those places. Operator to confirm the actual locations before launch
How long we keep it
We keep form submissions only as long as needed to pass them on, handle your questions or complaints and meet our legal obligations. Operator to set a retention period
